Mazescape mazes are beautiful and challenging designs in their own right but we like to add a little extra something to the mix. Our designs are frequently seen to include fun game play that takes the regular maze and creates a further puzzle structure within. This can be used to add a theme, variable levels of difficulty and dwell time to the experience. We design games that incorporate stories and characters to enrich the play. We can develop existing motif and branding within the gameplay whilst targeting specific visitor profiles according to the clients needs. This way, a single maze becomes a very versatile installation, for example, at one time a maze could be a game for under five's and with a simple change of game board, become a corporate challenge. Different levels of game play can be designed to run simultaneously to maximise potential throughput.
In the past year we have developed themes that explore; environmental issues and bring to life concerns over pollution and sustainability in Polar Trek; a maze that celebrates the centenary of the GAA in Ireland by way of a search for a missing trophy; a race to find the secret code to shut down a bunch of pesky polluting junk monsters in Maze Trap; a treasure hunters round the world adventure in, Maize Raiders; Jumbo's Jungle Bungle, in a field of Elephant Grass in Lancashire; The Abbot's Fortune Maze for Rufford Abbey Country Park in Nottinghamshire; Young Darwin, an evolutionary adventure, searching for rare and unusual species among the Galapagos; Bunny Hunt and Halloween Howl for Millets Farm Centre, to name but a few. We are always happy to discuss your needs when it comes to puzzles, games and activities - whether you are already running a maze attraction or are just thinking about it.
