In May 2008 we were approached by a newly formed but not established Maize Maze Association - They instructed us to not only administer the development of membership to the association but design and build a new website which would be primarily a central location for the public to find a maize maze attraction. The brief was to make the website clear, easy to use and for it to be at the top of the search engines as quickly as possible! With the maize maze season just 10 weeks away we had a huge task on our hands to complete it in time.

Working alongside web developer - Paul Forsdick, we were able to quickly come up with a fun and intuitive layout. We then determined that a great way for the public to find a maize maze near them would be with the use of an interactive map, this again should be simple and intuitive to use. The image below shows the simple 3 click process that takes you from the websites home page to an individuals maize maze page with all the relevant details including a google maps link to get directions direct to the physical maze site.

Developing a website from scratch in a very short time frame was an extremely tough challenge, especially as we had 30 maze designs to complete in the same period of time. We are thoroughly pleased with the outcome.
